The Health Ministry signed a contract for designing, equipping and maintaining the new Farwaniya Hospital expansion project. Health Minister Dr. Ali Al-Obaidi said during the signing of the contract that the hospital includes all specialties, allied medicine as well as school health services, in addition to a dentistry building which will have 100 specialized clinics as well as 30 clinics for school health. The project includes physiotherapy and outpatient buildings, in addition to 27 operation theaters and 233 ICU beds. Dr. Ali Al-Obaidi said that the project is expected to be finished within four year.
